You are an employee who has suffered an occupational accident or been diagnosed with an occupational disease.

You are a secondary school or university student who has suffered an occupational accident or contracted an occupational disease during practical training or work experience.

You are a voluntary military training soldier and have suffered an occupational accident or contracted an occupational disease during training or while performing daily duties.

You are an active reserve soldier who has suffered an occupational accident or contracted an occupational disease during regular training or while performing duties for the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic.

You are a member of the Voluntary Fire Protection of the Slovak Republic or another civic association and have suffered an occupational accident or contracted an occupational disease while performing fire protection duties under specific regulations. This also includes members of mine rescue teams injured or diagnosed with an occupational disease while carrying out their duties.

You are an individual who, at the request of a public authority or incident commander, assisted during an accident, natural disaster, or other emergency—or in its aftermath—and suffered an occupational accident or contracted an occupational disease while doing so.

You are a volunteer paramedic with the Slovak Red Cross.

You are the spouse or dependent child of someone who died as a result of an occupational accident or disease.

You are a volunteer member of the Mountain Rescue Service, or you assisted in a rescue operation at the request and under the instructions of the Mountain Rescue Service, and you suffered an occupational accident or contracted an occupational disease while doing so.
